HYOSHIRO GENEN DASHI (Fish soup stock)

Less salt type

We recommend this "Less Salt Type" to those who are concern about their sodium intake and prefer a lighter taste of dashi soup stock. This product is 41% lower in salt compared with our Standard HYOSHIRO DASHI.
Many may wonder if the taste of this low salt dashi will be as delicious as our Standard Dashi. To ensure the rich flavor is retained, we added 2.2 times more fishes in our low salt version.
To prepare as a soup dish, simply put one "tea bag" of this dashi in 500ml boiling water and simmer for about 5 minutes. To use it as a seasoning for stir fry dishes, simply tear open the "tea bag" and add the contents into the frying pan while cooking your favorite dishes.

HYOSHIRO SOZAI DASHI (Fish soup stock)

Unsalted type

To cater to the needs of customers who prefer unseasoned "Dashi" (Soup Stock), we have created this range with NO SALT and no additional seasoning.
To ensure that this unsalted range still taste as delicious as our standard salted Flying fish soup stock, we have modified the method of grinding the ingredients. We have also added about 4 times " MORE" ingredients in this range compared to our standard salted Flying fish soup stock, so that you can enjoy it just like the original flavor of our dashi.
This range is suitable for both infants as well for people with salt restrictions as you get to adjust the salt or seasoning base on your own preference while cooking.
To prepare as a soup dish, simply put one "tea bag" of this dashi in 350ml of boiling water and simmer for about 5 minutes.

How to use

Besides using our dashi pack to prepare soup dishes, you can also tear open the pack
and use the content as seasoning for your stir fry dishes such as noodles, vegetables, etc...

Use as a stock

Step1:1 pouch into the water.
HYOSHIRO GENEN DASHI 500ml
HYOSHIRO SOZAI DASHI 350ml
Step2:Boil then leave it for 3-5 minutes.
Step3:Remove the pouch.
Miso soup

Use as a seasoning

Open a pouch, and sprinkle onto the food as a seasoning.
